Strikes on the border with Serbia

Strikes on the border with Serbia

⚠️ Important update for transport to Southeast Europe ⚠️

We would like to inform our customers and partners about a planned strike that is expected to start on Monday 26 January. Due to this action, all border crossings for road transport in Serbia will be blocked. This will also have consequences for cross-border traffic in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. Only passenger traffic will still be allowed.

The reason for this strike is the introduction of new EU legislation that stipulates that international drivers from non-EU countries may stay in the EU for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period.

According to the current (still unofficial) information, this action can initially take 3 to 15 days.

We ask our customers to take possible delays into account for shipments to and from: Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania.

Since there are few alternatives available (except possibly air or rail transport), we ask for your understanding and patience in this exceptional situation.

As soon as we receive new information, we will inform you immediately.

Thank you for your trust.
