Inside CG | Maasmechelen

Connecting European logistics through one strategic hub

Not every logistics location serves the same purpose.

Some focus on warehousing. Others specialise in fulfilment or distribution.

At CG, our Maasmechelen site was developed to fulfil a different role: connecting international logistics flows through crossdock operations, customs expertise and a strategic location at the heart of Europe.

For customers moving goods across borders, speed, coordination and flexibility matter just as much as transport itself.

That is exactly where Maasmechelen makes the difference.

Built around movement

Maasmechelen is designed to keep freight moving.

With 28 loading docks, a 6,000 m² warehouse and a 20,000 m² logistics domain, the site supports the rapid handling of incoming and outgoing freight.

Rather than functioning as a traditional storage warehouse, the location focuses on efficiently receiving, consolidating and dispatching shipments to their next destination.

Every movement is planned to minimise waiting times and maximise operational efficiency.

A gateway for international logistics

Located close to the Belgian, Dutch and German borders, Maasmechelen provides direct access to some of Europe’s busiest logistics corridors.

This strategic position allows us to connect customers with destinations throughout the Benelux, Germany, France, Southern Europe, the United Kingdom and beyond.

By combining our own operations with a strong European partner network, we help businesses move goods efficiently across borders while maintaining reliable transit times and clear communication.

Customs expertise under one roof

International transport often involves more than moving freight.

Customs procedures, documentation and regulatory compliance have become an increasingly important part of modern supply chains.

Our customs specialists support customers with the administrative processes required for international trade, helping reduce delays and ensuring goods continue their journey as smoothly as possible.

By bringing logistics operations and customs expertise together at one location, Maasmechelen offers customers a more integrated logistics solution.

Supporting drivers and daily operations

Efficiency is not only about warehouses and transport planning.

The Maasmechelen site also benefits from an AS24 fuel and service station located directly on the logistics domain, providing additional convenience for drivers and supporting the continuity of daily operations.

Small operational advantages like these contribute to a more efficient supply chain.

One location. One purpose.

Every CG location has its own role within our European network.

While Wijnegem focuses on national distribution and operational coordination, and Venlo supports warehousing and fulfilment, Maasmechelen acts as an international logistics hub where transport, customs and crossdock operations come together.

Together, these locations create one connected network designed to support customers across Europe.

Looking ahead

As international supply chains continue to evolve, the need for strategically located logistics hubs will only increase.

Maasmechelen is built to meet that challenge.

Not simply by offering warehouse space, but by connecting people, processes and international logistics flows.

Because successful logistics is about more than moving goods.

It is about creating the right connections.
