International Women’s Day in Logistics

Every year on International Women’s Day, we take a moment to celebrate the achievements, dedication and impact of women around the world. At CG inspired by Corneel Geerts, it is also an opportunity to recognise the women who contribute to our company every single day.

Logistics has traditionally been a male-dominated industry. Yet across the sector, more and more women are demonstrating that talent, leadership and expertise have nothing to do with gender.

Women Driving Our Organisation Forward

Today, 35 women are part of CG inspired by Corneel Geerts, representing around 35% of our workforce.

Their contributions can be found throughout the organisation. From management and HR to finance, operations, sales, the warehouse and even on the road as drivers, women are helping to keep our company moving every day.

Each of these roles plays an important part in the complex world of transport and logistics. Planning transport operations, supporting customers, managing financial processes and ensuring goods move safely and efficiently across borders requires teamwork, expertise and dedication.

A Sector That Is Evolving

In a sector where women have historically been underrepresented, their presence across so many functions demonstrates how the logistics industry continues to evolve.

Modern logistics is about collaboration, problem-solving and innovation. Diverse teams bring different perspectives, which leads to better decisions, stronger organisations and better service for customers.
