Where the story started

The story of CG officially began in 1962, when Corneel Geerts founded the company with one truck and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

What started as a family driven transport company gradually grew into a recognised logistics partner operating across Europe.

The growth of the company was never based on shortcuts or rapid expansion alone. CG was built step by step through consistency, reliability and long term thinking. Relationships with customers, employees and partners always remained central throughout that journey.

That mentality became one of the strongest foundations of the company culture and still defines CG today.

Building further across generations

As the company continued growing, the next generation, Marc Geerts, helped further expand and professionalise the organisation.

The focus gradually evolved beyond transport alone. International activities increased, the operational network became stronger and broader logistics services became increasingly important within the company structure.

Over time, CG evolved together with the logistics sector itself.

Transport became logistics.
Logistics became supply chain coordination.
And customer expectations became increasingly international, integrated and complex.  

Each generation helped prepare the company for the next phase of growth and development while continuing to build on the same core values that were present from the very beginning.

That continuity between generations remains one of the strongest characteristics of CG today.

Today, CG has evolved into an integrated European logistics partner.
